When you receive a ticket, you will need to contact the traffic court listed on your citation before the ticket is due in order to resolve it. Your options include paying the fine for the ticket or fighting it. You must resolve your ticket within 20 business days of receiving it. If you choose to plead guilty and pay the ticket, keep in mind that fines for moving violation tickets in Texas vary by county and depend on what you were ticketed for and your insurance will go up hundreds if not thousands of dollars!
